Hinduism-Believed that Hindu priests from India were invited to the courts of ancient Southeast Asian rulers to teach them Indian culture.Historians thought that India was one of the most advanced civilisations of the ancient world, thus ancient Southeast Asian kingsso they wanted to learn from the Indians.

Buddhism-It was spread to the Southeast Asia c.300CE. It was brought by Indian and Chinese traders with the Buddhist missionaries who travelled with them.

The great impact of religions had on ancient Southeast Asia was on how they lived.

It also guided the ancient SEA rulers in they way they governed.

Combined their older beliefs with the teachings of their new religions.

Upon conversion to Islam, rulers of maritime Southeast Asian kingdoms no longer saw themselves as gods.

Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam continue to shape the lives of people in Southeast Asia.

The people of the Shang Civilisation use the Oracle bones to predict the future and they all in life after they die so the slaves will also be bury alive with the royal corpses.          Written evidence>The Oracle bones, having inscription on them, were used to predict the future. People had a belief in life after death. Therefore, the kings and other royalty were buried along with all articles of daily use. Why, how and what had happened to have caused a rapid end to the Indus Valley Civilisation?

1.Ecological changes led to the decline of land and agriculture. Shifts in the monsoon pattern and changes in temperature led to the area become even more arid. 

2. Increase in population, might have created economic problems leading to the gradual decay of the culture. The marked decline in the quality of building and town planning indicates that the authorities were losing control. 

3. The invasion of the Aryans is the other view that is said to be another reason which might have also led to the decline of the Indus valley.
